CHARACTERS IN BEASTARS ANIME
Beastars - Paru Itagaki
Legoshi
Legoshi is a tall and grey wolf who hovers over all the students in the class. Though he is 17 years old, but because he is a carnivore, his size and built scare everyone especially the herbivores. As everybody is feared of Legoshi’s pointed long teeth and sharp claws, he prefers to stay alone and doesn’t mingle much with others. Another reason why Legoshi maintains a distance from all is that he is feared of losing control over his instincts as a predator.
He has a calm personality and prefers to observe things from far, but at times he also intervenes when he thinks his powers can play some role for the oppressed. As far as Legoshi’s powers are concerned, his senses are extremely strong and his enormous body helps him to fight when he needs to.
Legoshi has a soft heart and lost his to Haru who is a herbivore hare. Though both do not match each other physically but their hearts are one. Their nature, diet, and minds are different but their hearts match.
Haru
Haru is a white hare with sparkling black eyes, soft fur, and overloaded cuteness! She has played an important role in the series as our hero Legoshi secretly loves her and keeps an eye on her actions. Haru being slender and a herbivore (weak in the anime compared to others), she always faces serious problems related to her protection and security because everybody considers her weak in the Netflix's Beastars.
Living in the Cherryton Academy dormitory, Haru never cared what others thought or felt about her. She always shared her views openly and never hesitated to put forward her ideas. However, Haru had one issue, she didn’t trust people much and the hardest thing was to trust someone, especially a carnivore. Initially, she was in relation with Louis but due to some obsessive issues both didn’t stay together for long.
If we need to look for some interesting things about Haru then her hobby of gardening is worth noticing. Undoubtedly, Haru is an intelligent and caring girl.
Jack
We all know that “a dog is man’s best friend!” Similar is the scenario in Beastars anime as Jack is an energetic and cuddly labrador. Jack is Legoshi’s best mate and is always seen by his side in every high and low. If you ask us then we would clearly say that he looks way too handsome in his school uniform while his playful dark eyes make us feel that he’s thinking about how to have fun out of all the boredom.
Jack seems fine from the outside but a storm began to roll in him after the death of Tem. He tried to console his friend Legoshi, but somewhere, Jack is shattered from within. He feels that the fear and hatred in the eyes of herbivores make him guilty. Once, Jack also tried to end his life but Legioshi saved him.
Juno
If you adore Juno more than other characters then it is not surprising at all because her innocence, positivity, and kind nature attract everyone towards her. Juno is also a carnivore wolf similar to Legoshi in some ways, just that she is brownish-grey and Legoshi is bluish-grey. Juno is also a part of the drama club in school which depicts her interest in such lively things.
We believe that Juno has some kind of magnetic attraction because the animals who talk to her once are inspired by her behavior and show more respect towards her. She has one target in life, to change the mindset of people and to make them believe that not all carnivores are instinctive and negative. She always preaches the fact that it is not necessary that a carnivore would see a herbivore as food; they can be friends as well.
Other than this, she has some special feelings for Legoshi! Yes you guessed it right, Juno is attracted to Legoshi and is willing to win his love but the sad part is that she has no idea that Legoshi is interested in Haru! Let’s see where fate takes her…
