SYNOPSIS OF SUMMER TIME RENDERING

It is a tale that takes us to the life of Shinpei Ajiro who has been living with two sisters named Ushio and Mio. His parents died soon after his birth but with the Kofune sisters, he never felt alone. The three raised themselves well. But, Shinpei wished to have a more resourceful and flourishing career. For that, Shinpei moves to Tokyo city for better education. It was not long before he returns to Hitogashima Island after two years. Well, in the flashbacks, we saw how much he likes Ushio and for her, he comes back. To his shock, Ushio is dead!

The teen girl whom he loved and never confessed drowned and died. This is obviously astonishing for him as Ushio was an excellent swimmer. At her funeral, Shinpei sights marks of suffocation and bruises on Ushio’s body. Of course, he is intelligent and begins to doubt that it was a cold-blooded murder. In order to find the truth, Shinpei begins to search for truth. The last piece of the puzzle is joined by Ushio’s appearance in his dreams and in real as a ghost. She is only emphasizing one thing, save Mio! On one hand, Shinpei is messed up with Ushio’s murder but there is more on his plate. Different people have been reported for their disappearance in the town. Probably, the tale of Shadow is real and the curse is back...

Shinpei Ajiro

Shinpei is a kind and curious boy in nature. Little did he know that his return would tangle him in despair. The girl he loved all his life was dead before his arrival. Of course, it was astonishing for him to know Ushio drowned. However, the matters were the complete opposite as she had marks of suffocation. Soon, the folktale of Shadows began to circulate. Working together with the ghost of Ushio, Shinpei manages to bring out the truth.

Ushio Kofune

Ushio is a girl who never gives up. She is eager to change whatever feels wrong. Even after her death, Ushio continues to protect the only family member she has in life i.e. Mio. It is evident that Ushio had feelings for Shinpei and she didn’t want to part with him. Her guidance is helping the ones alive in order to fight Shadow. Earlier, before her death, Ushio was portrayed as a witty and anger-young girl. No doubt that her willing nature brought her back.

Mio Kofune

Mio is the opposite of Ushio though both are sisters. The loss of her sister was a big shock for Mio and looked for support in Shinpei. It is so obvious that she has a strong crush on Shinpei but it is more like a one-sided love. He just considers her a friend and more like a younger sister. Most of the drama takes place when her life is in danger because of the threats of Shadow. Nonetheless, Mio’s behavior brings most of the twists in the story.

Hizuru Minakata

Hizuru’s part is integral in the story as she is the one who can detect Shadow around. Her body acts very differently when a Shadow is near her. Hizuru can walk with crazy acceleration and can catch Shadow too. If anyone has the guts and brain to plan then that is Hizuru because her style and intelligence are immaculate. She takes over situations in the worst case scenarios. Shadows can’t be caught without her aid.

Sō Hishigata

Sō Hishigata’s character proves that sincerity and compassion still exist in this world. Since childhood, he knows that Hishigata Clinic is a place to heal whoever reaches there. So is a lovely boy and he is always there to help all those in need. Not to forget that he is commendable in his work and is connected to all his patients emotionally. Till the last breath of his life, So wishes to serve as a physician. So never deflected from his path even Shadow was trying to take over.
