WHAT TO EXPECT FROM RECORD OF RAGNAROK ANIME?

We have zero percent doubt in claiming that the story, specifically the battles keep viewers on the edge of their seats. Yes, Record Of Ragnarok is one helluva anime that inculcates battles between gods and humans. This is the very reason why it’s called “Ragnarok”! The story begins with the gods of the world deciding that humanity has become too corrupt and must be destroyed. However, a Valkyrie named Brunhilde steps forward and suggests that they give humanity one last chance to prove their worth. The gods agree, and thus the "Record of Ragnarok" is created. It is a series of 13 battles between 13 human champions and 13 of the most powerful gods in existence. If humanity can win 7 of these battles, they will be spared from destruction and given another 1000 years of survival.

Enter our protagonist, a young Japanese martial artist named Lu Bu. He is chosen as humanity's first champion and must face off against Thor, the god of thunder. The battle is intense and brutal, with Lu Bu pushing himself to his absolute limits to try and defeat Thor. However, despite his best efforts, he ultimately falls in battle and dies.

But the Record of Ragnarok is not over yet. Another champion steps forward to take on the gods, and this time it's Adam. He, the first man, took on the god of war, Zeus. What do expect from the first human who is the father of all humanity? It is obvious that being a father, Adam is ready to do everything he can. His war is with Zeus who is the Godfather of the Cosmos and is also famous for Titanomachy. The battle is again, huge and it turns hard to breathe. However, unfortunately, Adam is vanquished and with that humans lose another match. The battles continue and each champion faces off against a different god.

The next one is of Sasaki Kojiro, the famed Japanese swordsman, fighting against Poseidon, the god of the sea. Each battle is unique and filled with its own twists and turns, with the fate of humanity hanging in the balance. Guess what? Poseidon, who is the only god who has killed another god, is defeated. Yes, Kojiro who never won any battle won from Poseidon and brought a point for humans. Season 1 ends when Humans have one point while gods have two. As the battles progress in the next season, we begin to see more of the gods' motivations and personalities. Some are cruel and sadistic, reveling in the pain and suffering of their opponents. Others, like Brunhilde, genuinely believe in humanity's potential and want to see them succeed. And still, others are simply bored with their immortal lives and see the Record of Ragnarok as a chance for some excitement.

IS THE SEASON 2 OF RECORD OF RAGNAROK OUT?

Yes, the second season of Record of Ragnarok is airing on Netflix. The episodes dropped in January 2023. So, if you are a fan then binge-watch the entire season in one night. We bet you won’t be able to stop yourself!
