The game according to Oni is known as “Tag.” It is a series of tasks that are to be completed by the two contestants chosen. From Oni, Lum has been pegged while the computer system selects the one who would represent Earth in Tag. The screen shows a picture of a boy named Ataru Moroboshi.

As soon as the information about Ataru Moroboshi is dug, it turns it that he is the most perplexed human on the planet. He is a high school student but Ataru isn’t living the best of his life. He has never been able to achieve anything in life. Neither his academic grades nor co-curricular activities predict anything good. In fact, people often claim that Ataru would be able to do well in any sector of life, and there lies the liberty of all Earth on him. However, no choice is there but to accept Ataru as their only hope.

In the ten days game of Tag, Ataru and Lum both play incredibly well but the last day is deadly crucial. Whoever wins it would claim victory. Thanks to the motivation of all, Shinobu Miyake vows to marry him if he wins, and with a pint of luck, Ataru wins. While he celebrates and begins to propose to Shinobu live, in front of all Lum thinks it’s for her. Guess what? Lum says yes and everyone begins to consider these opponents have fallen in love. She has some extraordinary brawny muscles (though nothing of sort is apparent in her arms). Shinobu gets out of control when she is outrageous and throws heavy things around.
