Overlord: The Sacred Kingdom reveals a massive yet thoroughly amusing plot in regard to The Holy Kingdom of Ridoria. The kingdom which was once full and productive is in a lot of trouble because of the demon called Jaldabaoth, who is spreading terror across the kingdom. This is where Neia Baraja comes in as a courageous soldier at first disapproving of Ainz but eventually siding with him. From her point of view, we begin to consider Ainz as an antagonist whose power and strategy seem so immense yet strategic. Licht is not a man who fights for Jaldabaoth; however, he is a man who maneuvers in the chaos and strengthens his hands on the realm. The fights are entertaining, however the sting is the entertainment. By the time she ascends to asserting her own leadership of the Heroes party, Neia has grown perhaps the most out of all the characters, mainly because of Ainz’s impregnable aura of authority (and a hint of authoritative persuasion).
While all of this is happening Ainz is pulling the strings like a puppet master and proves why he is an overlord. There are a lot of twists, great characters, and an entertaining plot – you will surely stay until the last episode. By the end, Ainz has saved the Holy Kingdom – sort of. Despite this victory, he has never seemed scarier as he remains an omnipotent presence, making you ask what else this wily overlord might be plotting.
