Senku Ishigami

Thinking why has this shonen anime been named Dr. Stone? Well, Senku is “Dr. Stone”! Do you remember the most intelligent boy in the anime? After the incident, no one even shifted an inch and turned into stones/statues. Senku was the first person who was normal again after 4000 years. At first, he was astonished due to the situation, but if we need to point out the best things about Senku, then we would definitely say “confidence” and “determination”.

We know that it’s hard to imagine a hero with long hair (weird-looking!), slim, and creepy scars on both eyes but he is one. Senku believes that everything is explainable and controllable with science. After waking up, Senku began working on different ways to make every human normal again. Six months after Senku, his best friend Taiju woke up which elevated his hopes. Finally, Senku created a formula to revive all humans and he did so successfully.

After facing resistance from Tsukasa, Senku formed his very own “Kingdom of Science” which focused on science, invention, creation, and growth. We could also observe some flaws which portrayed reality in Senku’s character as he was a bit flaunt and arrogant, being only dependent on science. Science was his best mate and partner.

Taiju Oki

Taiju is quite handsome with chocolate brown hair made into spikes, a brawny body, and scars on his eyes (due to petrification). No doubt that Taiju is more attractive than Senku! Let’s talk about his personality and skills. Taiju is very honest and sincere to all beings, even his enemies. He tries his best to never harm anyone and is always ready to do every task assigned to him.

It is so amazing to watch Taiju when he had fallen for Yuzuriha but wasn’t confident enough to express his feelings to her. As Senku believes science is the cure to everything, he offered him “Love Portion” which he denied because he never cheats anyone in any way, not even himself. Even when it was clear that the arch-enemy Tsukasa must be killed by Taiju, he negated this decision and instead went as a spy in Tsukasa’s kingdom in order to keep an eye on him instead of killing him.

One of the best things about Taiju is his strong mental ability. He confessed that throughout the 4000 years he was awake and conscious but couldn’t move or act. This was possible due to his mighty mental power.

Suika

Suika is a character that every Dr. Stone viewer loved! If we ask you which Dr. Stone character do you kin? Probably, your answer would be Suika! It’s because she is gentle, nice, caring, and funny at the same time. Haha, we know it’s quite hilarious to watch her fall here and there and bumping into people and things. The reason for her enormous and heavy watermelon helmet is that she has a problem of nearsightedness. Due to this Suika isn’t able to see things clearly.

After her friendship with Senku, she got rid of the green helmet and Senku made lenses for her. Afterward, Suika always considered Senko her mentor. If you always wonder why is Suika like this (normal) then listen up, she never went through petrification and belonged to the Ishigami Village (modern humans). Quite similar to OPM Quiz right?

Suika after coping up with her weaknesses she became a scout in the Kingdom of Science and was always seen supporting Senko. On and off, we could see her caring for animals and other fellows in a sweet way. No doubt in the fact that Suika is sweet like a watermelon!

Kohaku

Belonging to the Ishigami modern village, Kohaku played a significant role in the anime. She is a young lady, with delicate features, a petite body, attractive, and strong. She wasn’t among the ones who went under petrification so when found that Senku was reviving the humans again, she was curious to meet him.

Kohaku shows great interest in science and is always ready to experiment. You can perceive it in this way that Kohaku isn’t like most females who are interested in men, instead, she believes in freedom. Moreover, Kohaku is brave and one of the best fighters and combatants in the world. Her strength and survival tactics astonished everyone, especially Senku.
