Yui Komori
Yui is a sweet and caring girl. She is the daughter of a priest and has lived a life with many restrictions and rules. She never knew about her past as her father never shared her childhood years with her. The only thing she knew was that her mother died after her birth. However, life changed when her father decides to leave the place and sends Yui to a new place.
Yui then finds herself living in a house of six vampire brothers. At first, she never believed in vampires but after seeing them with her own eyes, Yui began to believe. However, living with them was totally a different thing. She tried to adjust to these beasts and remained calm and positive. When we got to see how all vampires tortured her while drinking her blood, we actually felt it. We even felt that Yui isn’t a normal human but there is something strange that makes her powerful. Ayato Sakamaki
Ayato is one of the triplets, brother of Kanato and Laito. Being a vampire, Ayato has a good-looking appearance with his pinkish-grey hair, green eyes, slender tall body, and usually wears formal shirts with coats and pants. Girls are usually attracted to him and if we ask any of them “who is your Diabolik Lovers husband?” Most of them would end up taking Ayato’s name.
Remember that all that glitters isn’t gold and this is true in Ayato’s case. He is extremely obsessed with himself and usually likes to highlight himself everywhere. Ayato has a spooky mind and enjoys torturing others and when he mistreats Yui, he feels overwhelmed. Azusa Mukami
Azusa is hard to understand! He’s literally impossible and vampires can be treated by psychiatrists then Azusa must see one at once. By appearance, he seems totally fine (just like other vampires) but he has a different mental state from all his brothers. The words m*sochist, s*dist, and nihilist are really made by observing him. He does have emotions but he never understands them as he should.
In the easiest words, Azusa believes that pleasure is found in pain and so not only hurts himself to feel the pain but also does the same with Yui. He attempted to do various things for torturing her in order to make her feel good. Azusa even has various marks on his body which can help us to ideate about his past activities. No doubt that his dark hair and eyes predict his dark heart. Interestingly, powers like Flight, Resilience, Teleportation, and the ability to bear sunlight make him stand out among others.
Laito Sakamaki
Laito is one of the youngest sons in the family. Being a young boy, he tries to attract all by his demeanor and actions. His reddish-brown hair, slim, youthful, grin on his face, and light attitude usually makes all others like him. Laito enjoys annoying others with his smirk, light jokes, taunts, and can even flirt for this.
He always believed that because he is younger than all so he isn’t loved by anybody. His mother Cordelia always neglected him and compared him with his brothers and so he ended up with this conclusion. Even with Yui, Laito made her do all that she hated and enjoyed watching her. He has this kind of mentality and personality.
